At 25, I had my life turned upside down, and I realized I had the opportunity to either stick to what I knew, or take a leap of faith toward a better future for myself. I chose to leap.

So I moved my small-town, Jesus freak, artsy, butt from Washington to Oregon to pursue a career in tattooing. I knew I loved people and I loved art, and I prayed tattooing would be the thing that let me enjoy both things to the fullest.

Turns out tattooing is the work I had been searching for my whole life.

Tattooing has allowed me to combine so many of the things I love: from art history, to botanical drawing, to creative problem solving, and so much more. My client’s make my days so special, and I get to make art for a living. What a gift.

Several years and hundreds of tattoos in, I’ve come back to Washington to make Seattle my home and continue living the dream.

However you found me, I’m thrilled you stopped by to look at my work. I hope to see you in my studio sometime soon.
